If you have flipped through our many inspirational images in the recent past and all the contemporary homes showcased on Schulweg, then you are no stranger to the many lighting delights of Tom Dixon. Arriving at Milan Design Week 2014 with a bang is his latest collection that reinterprets the classic British Members Club and gives the space a more modern appeal. Yet the amazingly gorgeous retro undertones of the CLUB Collection are undeniable. Featuring a sizzling new line of furniture, lighting and accessories, the entire lineup sweeps you off your feet with a sheer sense of luxury and visual flair!
Milan Design Week will mark the official debut of Dixon, who is currently one of the most sought-after designers in British circles. Club will bring a new addition to the incredibly popular Beat Lighting Series, which was inspired by the simplicity of Indian water vessels. There will also be the official unveiling of the Flood hanging lamps that seem to borrow from the automobile industry! A sleek and shiny Y Table and sculptural Pivot chairs will also be a part of the Club collection. Borrowing from the ’60s and ’70s, each of these creations boasts a mirrored golden tint that helps in painting a picture of affluence and sophistication.
It will be just a few more days before we see the entire lineup on display at Salone del Mobile, along with many more details. And we will be right there to get you all the exclusive news and images, so stay tuned!
